Charged to see a church

I have a very savage objection to be charged a fee to enter a church, doesn't this go against all their teachings? Surely this would be perceived as a form of capitalism; we really know this is what the church is about, I just never expected them to be so open about it.

The Roman Catholic church is fundamentally a business empire, funded almost exclusively by the poor saps who look up to the church for guidance and then are let down by those they trusted, then comes the inevitable cover-up by those in charge.

The sphere of influence the catholic church controls is immense, at all stages, the church has their hand out for money - this is all very vulgar.
