Lango di Torre Argentina

This is one of the little treasures of Rome, whilst located in the central city, it appears to be less frequently visited, this is a shame - I really enjoyed viewing the smallish site.

Amazingly, you can see how Rome is built upon layer upon layer of history, these spectacular examples of Roman construction are excavated bearing testament to the former empire.

Close to the Pantheon and Plazza Navarro, we came across this site numerous times during our outings, I stopped to look every time.
