Le Yam's- Montpellier

Heading back up to the old city after a siesta in the afternoon, we ended up in the old square looking to have dinner with a reasonable view. We found that at Le Yam's, the seating looked out over the square, the tables were a little tight, the food quickly made up for any perceived problems.

We decided on a set menu with entrée, main and desert - we had a number of options from each range. Noriko craved a rare steak after her four pork entrée selection, my salmon steak complimented my entrée mussels with a delectable sauce. Deserts came in a cup, she had chocolate mousse and my cottage cheese and berry topping was more than just serviceable.

Coupled with a couple of glasses of wine and coffee, the bill was always going to be higher than I initially hoped, such is life.
