Barcelona beach

Arriving by train from Montpellier at Barcelona's main rail station at 12:30 pm, we walked to our hotel and checked in. We were out of there and headed towards Barcelona's excellent beach. The place was really pumping, people sunning themselves on the beach, catching waves on surf boards, body boarding or just generally posing.

Barcelona has an excellent vibe, the atmosphere is electric and I don't feel any aggression. We only made it to the beach once during our three day trip, one of the negatives of living so close to Scarborough Beach I suppose.

I can see why Barcelona is well liked as a city, this is a popular place and while I didn't get the chance to experience the nightlife, the afternoon down the beach was fun.
