Marseille

Marseille is a city of contrasts, viewing the marina from the vantage points near the heads; the heart of the city is beautiful, yet two streets back from the harbour is a dirty polluted city full of undesirables.

Rubbish lines the roads, the bins are overflowing and you get the inkling a criminal element is hard at work. When the sun set, I made sure that I was fully alert to my surroundings, a hard core population emerged from the shadows, it appeared to me that the people I had viewed during the day were nowhere to be seen now.
