Not leaving a tip

This was the local place, just around the corner from our accommodation,  I thought this was going to be our local eating place in Lyon, after the first service, I knew this was not going to be the place. I liked the old guy who first served us, he seemed nice.

Then the old woman took over, she was, well, less than nice, she had no interest in service and was plain rude. When we finally coaxed her over to pay the bill, she refused to give the correct change, our expensive coffee and croissant was having the tip automatically deducted, needless to say, we got our change and never left a tip.
