Le Rhone

The river Le Rhone winds its way through Lyon; this majestic river flows at a fairly fast rate, the most interesting sections of Lyon for me is the peninsula, for me, it has the feel of an island, it is actually not.

Europe is full of bridges connecting banks of cities strategically located on old trading routes - Lyon is one of those cities. This is a inland wonderful city with plenty to offer the visitor, we had a tight schedule, I could easily spend longer here.
